Graduate student wins counseling psychology research award

Screenwriter Stephen Susco, a 1995 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, will screen his new film, "Red," on Dec. 11 (Thursday) at 7 p.m. in the Browning Cinema of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Concert: "Handel's Messiah"

Friday and Saturday, 8:00pm

Leighton Concert Hall, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Tickets: $10, $8 faculty/staff, $6 seniors, and $3 all students. Purchase tickets online or call 574-631-2800.

The Aidan Project --blanket-making drive

December 6: 11:00am - 2:30pm

East Wing, South Dining Hall. Help Circle K, Knott Hall, and the Class of 2009 in making fleece blankets that will be donated to cancer patients at local St. Joseph County hospitals and Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. This open-house-type event requires no sewing and instructions will be provided. Third annual project to raise cancer awareness.

Advent Lessons and Carols

December 7: 7:15 - 8:15pm

Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Service comprised of advent readings, hymnody with full congregational participation, and advent choral meditations. Free.
